Joshua Tourigny
RWU Senior
My name is Joshua Tourigny and I am a Computer Science major at Roger Williams
University. I have minors in Mathematics and Business Analytics, and a specialization in Data
Science. During my time at RWU, I’ve maintained a 3.76 GPA in classes such as Analysis of
Algorithms, Principles of Software Design, Theory of Computation, and Artificial Intelligence.
Additionally, I’ve gained experience working as a Tech Developer at a non-profit organization
called Communities of Hope, where I helped to design an interactive, text-based educational
game in Python. I’ve chosen to become a programmer because I want to create what my mind
imagines in order to assist others. Whether I’m building games to teach others or analyzing
spreadsheets to keep businesses in order, I know that my work can make a difference. Outside of
school, I can even use my skills to make small applications to improve my daily life. Thank you
for your time, and if you are interested in learning more about me, feel free to reach out.
